BlogDesk – great tool for bloggers

Do you ever wish you could blog offline and upload your posts when you go online some other time? Or maybe your blog’s posting panel loads slowly in your browser. Or maybe you like to post to several blogs at once, and having all those posting panels open in your browser is just annoying.

BlogDesk is a small, fast software app that lets you blog straight from your desktop. I’m using it right now, and I highly recommend it for anyone using one of the supported platforms. (They plan to add Blogger support eventually – that’ll be sweet!)

On a Mac? No fear. There are solutions out there for you, too. I found one called Ecto that sounds like it would offer the same functionality. There are probably other options out there, too.

And yes, when you post with BlogDesk, your blogging platform will still do its normal pinging, according to your settings.
