If you run several types of Wordpress blogs, here’s a helpful tip for saving time launching new ones. Make a folder for each type of site and store it on your hard drive. Keep the essential plugins for that type in the folder so you can quickly upload them all. Toss in a Notepad or Word document which explains what each plugin is for and notes what you need to do to get it running - i.e. template php calls or settings from within the plugin’s admin panel. This way you can pretty much start a new Wordpress site half-conscious when, if you’re like me, the best new site ideas tend to come to you.
